Arc de Triomphe

Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe symbolizes his military achievements. Next to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe standing on the Champs-Élysée boulevard is the city's most famous landmark and can be found on almost every picture postcard. Those interested in Napoleon's tomb will find it in the crypt of the Invalides Cathedral. The baroque building is easily recognizable by its gold-lit dome.
