For whom is the Stockholm Pass worthwhile?
The Stockholm Pass is not really cheap. However, if you want to see a lot of the city of Stockholm and its surroundings in just a few days, you can actually save a lot of money.
- Stockholm Pass for 24 hours
Ideal for those who only have one or even half a day. The pass is particularly worthwhile for cruise ship tourists or tourists passing through Sweden who have never been to Stockholm before and want to see many of the top sights. Example: The tickets for the hop-on/hop-off tours and admission to the Vasa Museum alone cost as much as the Stockholm Pass. If you also visit other attractions, you will quickly save several hundred crowns. - Stockholm Pass for several days
Idela for all those who want to experience a lot. Many of the tours on offer, e.g. to the Stockholm archipelago or Drottningholm Palace, regularly cost between SEK 300 and 400. Even if you take it easy and only visit the city on a hop-on hop-off tour and the Vasa Museum on the first day, you will save money if you only take a boat tour and visit a museum or attraction on the following days. - Is the Stockholm Pass worthwhile for families?
We advise families to carefully calculate whether the pass is really worthwhile. After all, children up to the age of 18 have free admission to many museums and castles (including the Vasa Museum). It is often better to buy a Stockholm Pass for the adults only and buy a ticket for the children on site if necessary. - Two top sights are missing from the Stockholm Pass: the Abba Museum and Stockholm Castle.
Alternatives to the Stockholm Pass
