Nevada is a state in the west of the United States of America, bordering California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Arizona. The largest city is Las Vegas, a world-renowned center for entertainment, casinos and luxury hotels. Nevada's attractions and landmarks include Hoover Dam, an impressive structure on the Colorado River used for power generation and water supply, and Red Rock Canyon, with its red sandstone formations and numerous hiking trails. Lake Tahoe is a popular vacation destination and offers numerous recreational opportunities in both summer and winter, including hiking, water sports and skiing.
