The island of Moyo belongs to Sumbawa, is rather sparsely populated and still largely untouched by the effects of mass tourism. Nevertheless, some sights invite to explore the island closer. A special sight is the Mata Jitu waterfall high on Moyo Mountain. It pours into numerous basins, which serve as pools for visitors or even the local animals. A visit to the island's so-called bat cave is more suitable for the daring, as thousands of the eponymous animals can be seen in the darkness. Apart from that, reefs again invite for diving and snorkeling.
