Malmöhus Castle

The oldest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia
Built in the 16th century, Malmöhus Slott is a Renaissance-style fortress complex that now houses the Malmö Art Museum and the Malmö Natural History Museum.

In the castle, visitors can explore the Malmö Art Museum and the Malmö Natural History Museum. Those who prefer to refresh themselves with Scandinavian fauna and flora can stroll through the castle park.

Here you will also find the castle mill, a windmill built on the Dutch model in the 19th century. The landscape around the castle is characterized by meadows and water areas, which form a pleasant contrast to the large city in southern Sweden. In the museums of the fortress complex, miniatures of the city of Malmö can be seen in addition to a knights' hall.
