Propriano
Although founded as early as 1640, Propriano looks more like a place from the 20th century. The buildings are not the most beautiful and there are not really many sights. Propriano consists mainly of a promenade between the marina and the pier. Parallel to it runs the mile with numerous restaurants and behind it is the shopping street with delicatessens, boutiques and souvenir stores.
Beaches in Propriano
Propriano is popular mainly as a seaside resort: located in the Gulf of Valinco, protected from the wind and surf, there are beautiful bays around the town and some of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. The beaches are less crowded than in the other seaside resorts and in some bays, which can only be reached by boat, you sometimes have the beach to yourself. In addition, there is a wide range of water sports: sailing, water skiing, surfing, kayaking and wakeboarding are offered on the beach and there are also plenty of opportunities to exercise in the hinterland.
