About half of the population of Rhodes lives in the capital of the same name, which is located on the northeastern tip of the island and with its approximately 60,000 inhabitants forms the tourist center. Right at the entrance to the port, you will be greeted by the statues of Elafos and Elafina, perched on pillars. The jumping deer Elafos is the heraldic animal of the island. Rhodes is also known for its interesting archaeological sites.

Chalki
If you are fascinated by the charm of small islands, then the island of Chalki near Rhodes is the perfect destination for you. The sparsely visited island belongs to the Dodecanese archipelago and is considered a slumbering diamond in the Aegean Sea. Whether swimming and diving on one of the deserted sandy beaches, relaxing in a lounge café, or during a leisurely stroll through the enchanting harbor town, Halki is a true island inspiration and a fascinating place to linger and return.
