Panarea
Panarea is with 3.4 square kilometers the smallest of the seven Lipari islands. Many consider it the most beautiful. Hibiscus, bougainvillea, olive and lemon trees create an Arcadian atmosphere. From Punta del Corvo you have a wonderful view. When you arrive at the port of San Pietro, your way can lead you through narrow streets to Ditella and Drauto or you can decide to visit one of the many restaurants. Unlike its sister islands, Panarea has something mundane about it. Many wealthy families afford a summer residence here. At the bays Cala dei Zimmari and Cala di Junco fabulous beaches invite you to swim.
The ferry port on the island of Panarea offers connections to the other Italian islands of Stromboli, Salina, Sicily, Vulcano, Lipari and Filicudi, as well as to the ports of Naples, Sapri, Ginostra and Vibo Valentia on the Italian mainland. A total of 12 routes are offered here several times a day by the shipping companies Alicost, Liberty Lines, Alilauro, Siremar and SNAV.
