The Unity Line shipping company is based in Szczecin, Poland, and is managed by Jarosław Kotarski. Since the construction of the flagship Polonia, which is designed for 1000 passengers, the shipping company owns eight cargo and passenger ferries. The largest passenger ship is Skania, which has belonged to Unity Line since 2008. It can carry 1397 passengers, 50 trucks and 260 cars.

In addition to passenger transport, the shipping company is important for the transport of rail freight between Poland and Sweden. Unity Line handles 65 percent of the freight traffic from the Baltic Sea. It is not for nothing that it is considered the largest freight forwarder there. For freight transport, the shipping company operates the ships Jan GryfŚniadecki, Wolin, Gryf, Copernicus, and Galileusz. The last four ships are suitable for both cargo and passenger transport.

Throughout the year, Unity Line ships operate in the Baltic Sea area. There are ferry trips between Swinoujscie in Poland and the port of Ystad, located in Sweden. A second route is between Swinoujscie and Trelleborg. Passengers stay on the ships for about six to six and a half hours. In order to spend the time as pleasantly as possible, the shipping company offers various amenities on its Polonia and Skania ferries. There is a café and restaurants on board the ships to satisfy hunger and thirst, as well as facilities for entertainment. These include a bar and a disco, as well as various stores and a casino for people who like to gamble. Comfortable cabins on board ensure a pleasant rest.
