The ferry company was founded in 1976 and currently has a fleet of five ships in total. These are equipped with restaurants, bars, casinos and duty-free stores.
Connections
Ferries operate between Italy and Greece approximately twice a week from July to September. The journey takes the following route: Igoumenitsa - Corfu - Bari. The journey takes about 10.5 hours.
The trips from Italy (port Bari) to Albania (port Durres) and back take place almost daily. For the crossing you should plan about 9 hours of pure driving time.
Discounts
Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge, but are not entitled to their own seat. Travelers between the ages of 4 and 12 are charged half fare. Group fares are granted upon individual request for groups of 20 or more.
Port fees are not included in the ticket price and are 12 euros per passenger for the Bari-Durres route and 15 euros per passenger for the Bari-Igoumenitsa route.
Transportation conditions
The ships are equipped with cabins for 2, 3 or 4 persons. Overnight stay in the lounges and corridors is expressly forbidden.
Special boxes are available for the transport of pets. Due to the limited number of boxes, advance booking is recommended. Pets are not allowed to stay in the interior areas of the ships.
Passengers are requested to arrive at least two hours before the scheduled departure time when traveling with Ventouris Ferries.
