Sulawesi is one of the largest islands in the world. Although it is still untouched by mass tourism, it has many attractions. In the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park you will find a great variety of plants and animals and you can even spend the night in nature. In addition, Sulawesi is a paradise for divers and snorkelers. At many bays around the island there are intact reefs, where you can meet sharks, octopuses or seahorses with a little luck. For those interested in culture, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kete Kesu is recommended. There you will find Tongkonans, houses of the indigenous people of Sulawesi. Also impressive are the coffins that hang on rock walls according to tradition.
