With around 15,000 inhabitants, the island of Tjörn is the sixth largest island off the west coast of Sweden. In the high season, it attracts just as many tourists. Tjörn is a Swedish municipality in the historic province of Bohuslän and Västra Götalands Län and is located around 60 kilometers north of Gothenburg. The municipality is based in the town of Skärhamn, which also has its own guest harbor.
