With an area of over 440 square kilometers, the island of Usedom on the border with Poland has long had the reputation of a vacation paradise. Both several high-quality beach resorts and the numerous small sights attract visitors every year. The former include various craft workshops that can be visited, as well as a butterfly farm. For excursions on the island, there are not only bicycle tours and hikes, but also horseback rides from the local horse farms.
