Gröna Lund amusement park has been around since 1883, when the main attraction was a horse-powered carousel, but today's attractions are a bit more spectacular. There are several roller coasters, a freefall tower and much more.

Tivoli Gröna Lund amusement park is one of Sweden's most visited attractions. It is located on the island of Djurgården, not far from the Vasa Museum, and offers over 25 rides for young and old, as well as stage events such as concerts and theatre, and exhibitions.
Attractions and rides
- Eclipse, the highest carousel in the world at 121 m. Maximum rotation speed: 70 km/h
- Fritt Fall, free fall from an 80 m high tower
- Blå Tåget, a ghost train
- Twister, a twisted wooden roller coaster
- Katapulten, a 55 m high tower, where you are thrown up and down alternately.
- Insane, a superlative roller coaster with a maximum speed of 3.5 G and 60 km/h
- Kattingflygaren, a 12 m high chain carousel
- House of Nightmares, a super modern ghost train

How do I get to Gröna Lund?
- Bus: Line 67 from Karlaplan , get off at Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund stop.
- Streetcar: line 7 from Kungsträdgården
- Subway: to Karlaplan (red line), then continue by bus, streetcar or walk (approx. 20 min)
- Boat: Djurgårdsfärjorna from Slussen
Tickets and prices
In addition to admission, 1-4 tickets are required per attraction. House of Nightmares must be paid extra. Admission is free with the Stockholm Pass.- 0-3 years: free entrance and free rides
- 3-6 years: free entrance
- 7-64 years: 110 SEK
- 65+: free entrance
- Ticket: 20 SEK
- Ticket booklet (20 rides): 360 SEK
- Åkband (free ride at all attractions for one day): 320 SEK. Does not apply to House of Nightmares.
