Konya

Konya, also called Ikonya by the locals, is a city of millions that enchants tourists with its unearthly beauty and friendly atmosphere! The city lies on a completely flat surface, the only exception being a small hill called Alaeddin Tepesi. It is located in the center of Konya and is actually an artificial hill built in Celtic times so that the nobles could easily look down on the city from their palace. Most of the sights, with the exception of the suburb of Meram, are located in the center of the city and can be reached on foot.
