Maceió

The city of Maceió is located in the north of Brazil and is a popular vacation destination for many inhabitants of the South American country. Maceió attracts visitors with its long sandy beaches and fascinating coral reefs near the coast. Farmers were already cultivating sugar cane on small plantations in this region in the 17th century. Today, it is mainly coconuts and mangoes that grow here. There is an interesting media museum in the Jaraguá district above the old town.
