Ribersborg beach

Malmö's bathing beach is named after the Ribersborg district and is located only 3 km from the city centre. The extensive sandy beach and the green areas attached to it were designed in the 1920s. For Malmö residents and tourists, Ribersborgsstranden is a popular recreational area. Especially on hot summer days the beach attracts with refreshing bathing pleasure. However, a golf course, sauna and other recreational facilities make the area suitable for year-round use. The hiking trails and cycle paths offer city tourists relaxation after a strenuous tour of the city.
