The Adler-Schiffe shipping company is a family business founded in 1950 by Kurt Paulsen and based in Westerland on the island of Sylt. With more than 25 passenger ships, Adler-Schiffe is the largest provider of excursions and ship charters on the German North Sea and Baltic Sea coast. The shipping company offers a wide range of trips in Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, including island and Hallig trips in the North Sea, adventure trips in the Wadden Sea and the Eider-Treene region, excursion trips from Rügen and Usedom, harbor tours in Wismar and Swinemünde, and the large Kiel Canal trip.
