Rosenborg Castle

Rosenborg Castle is one of the most interesting sights in the Danish metropolis. King Christian IV chose this stately home, surrounded by a moat, as his summer residence. The castle got its current appearance in 1616 with a north wing, a second floor and distinctive towers.
Christiansborg Castle is one of the most famous sights in Copenhagen. The imposing building is located in the south of the Danish capital on the castle island Slotsholmen.

Fredriksborg Castle

Moated Castle and National History Museum
Frederiksborg Castle (Frederiksborg Slot) is located about 30 km north of Copenhagen city centre in the town of Hillerød. The impressive moated castle is considered the largest and most important Renaissance building in Northern Europe. Since 1878, it has housed the National History Museum in about 60 rooms.

Charlottenborg Castle

Art Gallery and Academy of Arts
Charlottenborg Palace is a small city palace in the old town of Copenhagen. The palace is the seat of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and in the rear part is the Kunsthal Charlottenborg with exhibitions of contemporary art.
