Hamelin

Travel Guide & Travel Information
The Pied Piper has made the town in the Weserbergland Nature Park famous far beyond its borders. In the summer you can visit the Pied Piper games and experience firsthand how Hamelin was freed from rats and mice according to legend. You can experience even more history in the Hochzeitshaus, one of the most beautiful buildings of the so-called Weser Renaissance. The Pied Piper House is the most beautiful half-timbered house in the city. You will find the right contrast to it in the modern city gallery. Here you can shop to your heart's content and taste the culinary specialties of the region. A visit to the Klütturm is a must. From up here you can enjoy a fantastic panorama.
